 Microsoft Excel for Managers

This workshop has been conducted by me several times at Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad and at Cognizant Technology Solutions. Available here are the course tutorial and other material. For more information (especially if you want me to conduct this workshop in your organization) do write to me at anandv98@gmail.com

Who hasn't worked on Microsoft Excel? While the little icon on our desktops might be the most frequently used, many of us don't know how to harness its power as a terrific helper tool, as a way to make our business proposals more hard-hitting or as a way to make our Boss thank his lucky stars he hired a MBA!

This course is designed to provide you just what you need to make that quantum leap and become a Power User of Excel!

At the end of this workshop, you would have worked your way through complex Charts and Pivots, analyzed data to make more sense out of it, conjured up complex formulae and even developed some cool applications in Excel.

What's more, this workshop will allow you to try out the examples and cases on your laptops as I demonstrate them to you so that you retain your learning even outside the classroom.

Session Outline

  • Pivot Tables
  • Charts/Graphs
  • Data Filters
  • Validations/Lists
  • Some advanced formulae
  • Protection & Security in Excel
